Suicide: LASU Student Jumps Into River From Falomo Bridge
In a bid to commit suicide, s student of the Lagos State University, LASU, identified as Kingsley Gabriel on Monday jumped into the river from Falomo Bridge on Lagos Island.
It was gathered that the incident took place on Monday afternoon.
The student was said to have been quickly rescued from drowning by LASWA officials who responded swiftly to the incident.
A source in source in Lagos State Waterways Authority said Gabriel was taken to the Falomo Police Station after he was rescued by officials.
As of the time of filling this report it was not clear why Gabriel decided to end his life by jumping from the Falomo Bridge into the water.
It will be recalled that a woman was said to have jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge and was never seen since then.
