Tinubu Felicitates DG Of NILDS At 60
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has congratulated Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), on his 60th birthday today.
President Tinubu commends Professor Sulaiman for his long and distinguished career in academia and public service. He notes the Professor’s contributions as Minister of National Planning, deputy chairman of the National Planning Commission, and now as Director-General of NILDS, where he has strengthened legislative capacity and deepened democratic governance in Nigeria.
President Tinubu praises Professor Sulaiman’s dedication to research, teaching, and policy development, his commitment to institution-building at NILDS, and his role in training lawmakers and policy leaders across Nigeria and West Africa.
He acknowledges that under Sulaiman’s leadership, NILDS has emerged as a centre of excellence for legislative studies and democratic development.
The President extends his best wishes to Professor Sulaiman on this milestone and prays for his continued health, wisdom, and greater service to the nation.
