Award-winning rapper, Cardi B has revealed that she is in a relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs and shared that while marriage isn’t a pressing priority, it remains a possibility in the future.

She also announced on CBS Mornings that she is expecting a baby with Diggs, her fourth child. Cardi B is already a mother to three children with her ex-husband Offset: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, born in July 2018; son Wave Set Cephus, born in September 2021; and daughter Blossom, born in September 2024.

Speaking on TODAY with Jenna & Friends, Cardi explained that she met Diggs through mutual acquaintances and admitted her first impression was that he was “cute.” Although she avoided giving specific details about their relationship, her playful body language, winks, and smiles suggested that things are going well between the two.

Both Cardi and Diggs are juggling demanding schedules. The wide receiver is focused on his comeback season with the Patriots following an ACL injury, while Cardi is promoting her latest album, released this Friday. The rapper admitted she hasn’t attended one of Diggs’ games yet but said it is on her to-do list once her work slows down.

When asked about the possibility of marrying again, Cardi gave a candid yet optimistic response, saying she isn’t dismissing the idea. For now, however, she seems content to let the relationship unfold naturally while balancing her music career, motherhood, and growing family.

Cardi B Wins $24m Assault Case, Tackles Reporter Over ‘Disrespectful’ Question

A Los Angeles jury has cleared rapper Cardi B of assault charges in a $24 million civil lawsuit filed by a security guard who claimed she attacked her with a fingernail outside a doctor’s office in 2018.

The trial began last week in Alhambra, centring on allegations made by Emani Ellis that Cardi B cut her cheek with a 3-inch fingernail and spat on her during an encounter outside an obstetrician’s office.

At the time of the incident, Cardi B was four months pregnant with her first child, a fact that was not publicly known and led the medical office to close for the day to protect her privacy.

During the trial, Cardi B took the stand and gave lively testimony about the confrontation, denying the allegations and describing how the security guard followed her, filmed her on her phone, and refused to give her personal space.

Ellis said the encounter “traumatised” her, but after deliberating for just about an hour, the jury found Cardi B not liable for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and false imprisonment.

Following the verdict, Cardi B spoke to reporters, saying, “I work all day and I work hard for my money, for my kids, for the people that I take care of. So don’t you ever think that you’re going to sue me, and I’m just going to settle.”

She also urged her fans to respect the privacy of Ellis and her family now that the case was resolved.

In a separate moment of controversy after the trial, Cardi B, visibly pregnant, confronted a reporter who asked disrespectful questions about her personal life.

The exchange included the reporter asking, “Cardi, insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the 4th time. Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefa and Big?”

To which Cardi B sharply responded by throwing a pen at the reporter, saying firmly, “Stop disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me.”

She went on to challenge the reporter directly: “Do you see women asking those types of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, that you get to ask me those kinds of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you to respect women.”

The confrontation drew mixed reactions, while many praised Cardi B for her bold stance against disrespect, others expressed concern that she resorted to a physical gesture of anger so soon after being cleared of assault allegations.

Despite facing a high-profile court case and being heavily pregnant, Cardi B showed no hesitation in standing up for herself and demanding respect, underscoring her strength and resilience both inside and outside the courtroom.

‘I’m Daughter Of Two Immigrants,’ Cardi B Slams Musk For Calling Her ‘Puppet’

Rapper Cardi B has responded to remarks made by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who recently called her a “puppet” for the Kamala Harris campaign.

Musk shared a clip of Cardi B’s speech on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”

Cardi B fired back, saying, “I’m not a puppet, Elon. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty, and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you… But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle… PS fix my algorithm.”

The exchange comes ahead of the U.S. presidential elections, scheduled for November 5, where Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is set to face Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Though Harris stands poised to potentially become the first Indian American president, a survey by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace suggests she may garner fewer votes from the community than President Joe Biden did in 2020.

In her rally speech, Cardi B spoke passionately about women’s rights, stating: “Just like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog, I’ve been underestimated, my success belittled and discredited. Let me tell you something: Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and still people question us, how we got to the top. I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always stand up to one.”
