Make The Best Use Of Journalism Training Programme – CEO Daily Trust
Participants at a 3-day training for journalists organised by Daily Trust Foundation in collaboration with MacArthur Foundation have been charged to make the best use of the opportunity provided by the training.
Declaring open the Investigative/Multimedia journalism training organised by Daily Trust in collaboration with MacArthur Foundation, the former Chief Executive Office of Daily Trust, Mr Dan Ali said the desire of Daily Trust to train journalists even beyond the confine of the organization is to make the best out of professional journalists who desires to reach the peak of their profession.
He noted that multimedia is the order of communication today adding that whosoever is in the profession of journalism and fails to upgrade himself will be out of space and may suffer annihilation.
Ali urged participants to access the opportunity provided by the training so that they could better their lot financially because legitimate money can be earned as an expert in multimedia.
Also speaking, the programme director, Dr Theophilus Abbah urged participants to be positive in action and have the heart of “I can do it” saying that there is no age limit in journalism.
He urged participants to be positive in action and aspire to make it in the profession of their choice.
