Umahi Recalls Suspended Commissioners

Chief Ogodo Ani that were suspended over gross misconduct in the
State.
The commissioner for information and state Orientation Senator
Emmanuel Onwe disclosed these to newsmen at the Executive council
chamber government house Abakaliki.
According to Onwe, the state’s Exco decided that Ogodo Ani, returned to
the state house of Assembly for re screening as a commissioner
following misinterpretation by people that he was sacked.
” In respect to Honourable Ogodo Ali who has been on suspension for a
very long time, because of the interpretation among the members of the
public that he was sacked, council has resolved through the directive
of the chairman that he submit himself to the Ebonyi State House of
Assembly for screening and confirmation before he could return to the cabinet of
Ebonyi State as a commissioner to restore his integrity and
reputation.”
Onwe further disclosed that all stakeholders have been mandated to return
to their wards to ensure that all there people collected their voters
card from the INEC .
“On matter relating to PVCs,
Ebonyi citizens have collected more than 1.9million PVC and the
council resolved that each stakeholders within the state should return
to their respective wards and communities
” And I seek to understand the number of PVCs that is still
outstanding that have not been collected and I urged them to do
everything within their powers to ensure that those PVCs are collected
by the voters. He said
