Eyewitnesses revealed that he was already inside the witness box when he started coughing and could no longer control the cough, he was said to have rushed out of the courtroom.
He was alleged to have started coughing blood as he rushed out of the courtroom.
However, he could not make it to the ground floor of the one story building as he collapsed very near the steps.
People could not get near him as they claim to be scared by the amount of blood that he coughed out.
He later died on the spot where he collapsed. His relatives in court later brought in a Volvo ambulance which took the corpse away.
Journalists still met massive clots of blood around the toilet area which is very close to the court building. The sandals of the deceased and some clothes used to wipe blood away were also there.
