APC Chieftain Applauds Yilwatda, NWC Members On Successful National Convention
APC Chieftain, Chief (Mrs) Ladun Adekunle has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and all members of the National Working Committee (NWC) on their emergence at the just concluded National Convention.
She also called on eligible Nigerians, who are yet to register for the APC Membership and Permanent Voter Cards (PVC), to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
”Registering to vote is not only a civic responsibility but also the most effective way for citizens to have a voice in shaping the future of the nation.
“Democracy thrives when citizens actively participate in the electoral process. The ongoing voter registration provides an opportunity for first-time voters, those who have changed their residence, and others who need to update their records, to ensure they can exercise their right to vote in forthcoming elections. I urge all eligible Nigerians across the country to come out en masse and register with INEC,” she stated.
She reminded Nigerians that a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) remains the only legal instrument for voting in Nigeria and encouraged community leaders, youth organisations, religious institutions, and civil society groups to mobilise their members for the exercise.
She further assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda programs and projects will bring more economic development to the people of Nigeria.
She promised to collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the 36 states to ensure that Nigerians are adequately  sensitised to register as APC members during this registration period.
