Never saw this error in the basic installation until I turned on the various Joomla-specific extensions, so obviously I'll start to track down the offending module or plugin, but does anyone have a clue about this? (PHP 5.2, CiviCRM 3.x, etc. all up to date)

I have this error trying to use the UFGroup API.
