We have access control set up so that a group member can only see their group. But when they do an custom search for contributions with no other criteria, they can see the entire database, not just the group.

How can we restrict them to search only their group or alternately, turn off custom search by access control group or role?

Hi rjm,

In your subject line, you say this is an issue with Advanced Search, but in your description you say it's an issue with Custom Search. Could you please clarify which we're discussing?

Hi Jon, it is a custom search that is giving me an issue. I appologize. 4.4.3

It might be possible that this custom search does not respect ACL, so will need to coding / customization to fix this.
