Author Topic: Where would one hack to force Drupal user account creation (Read 1680 times)

I'd like to have CiviCRM automatically create a Drupal account when a CiviMembership is purchased if there is no existing Drupal account for that email address, similar to what is described at http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,2297.0.html

Poking about in the following files did not reveal to me where this is done for REGISTER mode:
CRM/Member/BAO/Membership.php
CRM/Member/Form/Membership.php (though this does have a bit of CRM/Core/BAO/UFGroup.php stuff
CRM/Profile/Form.php
CRM/Profile/Form/Edit.php
CRM/Profile/Form/Dynamic.php

TIA for tips on where to start.

If you have a profile as part of the Contribution page then under Advanced settings you can set Drupal account there - and there has been a hack discussed elsewhere of setting this to being permanently checked. HTH

Thanks, yes, I'm aware of the UI for this. I guess I will use that to find the program elements to hack to force this to happen automatically when people buy a membership.
