I am using version 2.1.2 standalone

I need to call the online registration page from my cms. How can I call up the page that I have configured in civicrm. What is it called and how can I make it return to the calling page (The registration confirmation page has no return button).

So far I have not found any information in the online documentation.

Help is greatly apreciated.

I don't have a lot of experience w/ standalone installs, but I think the link to your online registration page should be:

http://<your site>/?q=civicrm/event/register&reset=1&id=3

... and for the Event Information page:

http://<your site>/?q=civicrm/event/info&reset=1&id=3

... add action=preview for test-drive mode.

Regarding returning to the calling page... we provide a configurable Thank-you Page Footer element which folks use to put in a referring link / button. However, this would be a static value (for a given event) - don't know of a way to make it dynamic based on where the user came from.
