Reactions Trail Uzor Arukwe’s Birthday Surprise For Bam Bam
Actor, Uzor Arukwe, has once again stirred attention with his affectionate display towards his on-screen partner, Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam.
Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, April 23, 2026, Arukwe sought suggestions from fans on what birthday gift to get for the actress, who marked her birthday on the same day.
As part of plans to surprise her, the actor revealed intentions to organise a party at a library. He also called on fans and well-wishers to contribute by purchasing tables—available in two categories—or by selecting items from her birthday wishlist, which includes clothes, gadgets, wigs, among others.
He concluded by wishing her a happy birthday.
The gesture comes months after rumours of a marital crisis between Bam Bam and her husband, Teddy A.
Although neither party has publicly addressed the situation, subtle signs had fuelled speculation.
Speaking on the rumours in an earlier interview with BBC Igbo in March, Arukwe dismissed claims of a romantic relationship between himself and the married actress, which arose following their roles in a film together.
He explained that he maintained professionalism on set and discussed boundaries with Bam Bam before performing scenes involving physical contact, noting that he was careful not to jeopardise her marriage.
Despite the speculation, their continued collaboration suggests a strong professional bond that appears to extend beyond the screen.
